وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنْفُس وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ * الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ * أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient. Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.
[Surat Al-Baqarah 155 – 157]
Today, the ADAMS community has come together to mourn the loss of a member of its community who was murdered at the young age of seventeen. This senseless act against our daughter has shaken us all as American Muslims. We pray that Allah grants her the highest level of jannah and gives her family strength and patience as they mourn the loss of their child. Our hearts and duaa are with you as you lay her to rest.
الله يرحمها ويغفر لها ويتقبلها مع الأبرار وينزل على قلوبكم السكينة والثبات. عظم الله أجركم وإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
